Stroved ("we", "us", "our") operates the Stroved macOS application and the website stroved.com.

Information We Collect

Stroved collects no personal data. The app runs entirely on your device. No accounts, no sign-ups, no tracking. Your focus sessions, statistics, and preferences are stored locally on your Mac and are never transmitted to any server.

Analytics

We use TelemetryDeck for anonymous, privacy-first usage analytics. TelemetryDeck does not use cookies, does not collect IP addresses, and is fully GDPR compliant. We only see aggregated, anonymous data such as: app version distribution, macOS version distribution, and general feature usage patterns.

In-App Purchases

Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.

Calendar Data

If you grant calendar access, Stroved reads your calendar events locally on your device to display upcoming events. Calendar data is never stored, transmitted, or shared. You can revoke calendar access at any time in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars.

App Usage Detection

Stroved detects the currently active application to automatically categorize your focus sessions. This data is processed entirely on your device, is never transmitted, and only the category (not the app name) is stored in your local session history.

Third-Party Services

Stroved does not integrate any third-party advertising, social media, or tracking services.

Children's Privacy

Stroved does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
